FVFP had made the decision to break away from their parent company, but a significant barrier to this was disengaging from the existing corporate network and telephone system. As FVFP had no dedicated internal IT staff, KSBC was called in to execute the infrastructure changes and office migration processes simultaneously, providing support in defining their needs and building a detailed plan for the move. KSBC streamlined all IT and telecommunications processes, taking responsibility for the entire office move project end-to-end, from planning to commissioning.
KSBC organised a detailed plan ahead of time and completed the entire office move over one weekend, including the supply and installation of new IT and Telecommunications infrastructure and migration of database software, data and office furniture. FVFP left its office on Friday evening and arrived on Monday morning at their new premises to find the office fully-functioning and ready to operate as usual.
“During the move weekend, we took the opportunity to replace outdated IT infrastructure with new and more cost-effective equipment, without interruption or downtime to FVFP’s business operations”, Chris Kwok, KSBC Managing Director.
“The KSBC team was not only involved in every aspect of the move, but was at hand to guide us through any IT-related problems that occurred after the move, helping our business to cope with the challenges of change. We hope for our relationship with KSBC to continue over the years to come”.
